British actor, Jude Law has demanded a paternity test in the wake of claims from Florida model, Samantha Burke, that he is the father of her unborn child. The actor and model met while Law was filming Guy Richie’s new Sherlock Holmes movie, and following a brief fling was told by model Burke that she was pregnant with their child. Speaking to close friends, the actor said he is not denying the claims and would be prepared to support Samantha and the baby if it is proved that he is indeed the father. He added, however, that before he commits in any way he wants to be “100% certain” and that is the reason that he is adamant about having a paternity test. Burke is convinced that Law is the father and is said to be less than impressed with the way he has behaved since hearing the news, however, the actor, 36, who has children from a previous marriage to Sadie Frost is very sensitive as to how this new addition to the family will affect them and therefore, wants to be certain of the paternity.
